Dear Mr. Coddington,

I believe your title at INSP is something like "Managing Director of Silicon Investor." I believe that was BryanB's old title when GNET owned it, if I'm not mistaken. In fact, he use to post on SI quite often...back in the "good old days" (last year, pre-"merger").

I don't believe I've met you, but I wish to thank you so much for your encouraging post to us on this thread regarding the future of Silicon Investor. I understand you made the same post on several other threads today. In fact, I also received the same information later today in a PM from you.

I can only assume that your multiple posts (and PM's) were approved by the company's "new" CEO, in advance. The "new" BIG GUY, so to speak. And many of us investors absolutely trust every single word he utters...

However, I just have one question for you...
when he said something to the effect,
"InfoSpace will be the world's first trillion dollar company,"
can we still believe that also?

Those of us investors who believed him when he said that, (some of whom bought the stock back around $134/share), have watched it dropped into the $3's, and become a penny stock this week. A PENNY STOCK! We have also watched some highly respected people leave the company, many analysts downgrade the stock, and to top it all off, the firing of SI Bob (a "legend" here at SI).

So, when you say, "The answer is no," regarding whether InfoSpace plans to "abandon" SI, I'm sure you can understand that at the moment, some people may take ANYTHING coming from the "current" management of INSP, with a VERY large grain of salt (to put it very mildly). In fact, from the many posts I've been reading this past year, a heck of a lot of people don't trust anything Mr. Jain (or his representatives) has to say. Perhaps they're all wrong. I can't say.

I'm sure you're a great guy,
but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
Pass it on!

Sincerely,
Roger
