DaYooper pretty much summed up what I would say.

If you've adventuresome, get some of those cedar planks, soak them, and add them to the grilling routine.

The trick here, is to get heat to the salmon/fish and get the cedar (under the fish) to begin to start releasing enough smoke to flavor.

Either way, just be careful to not overcook the fish.

(you can overcook the cedar, though) ;-)
