They can play games as much as they want and try to stall the run for another 2 years but it's too late. PEM technology for the automobile is toast, Ford and Mercedes got their money of the table already and went on a shopping spree. The only ones left are the governments 200 million, plus the poor retail sap that bought into a Hollywood dream. As Canadians we assume that we have the same rights as Americans, wrong. The taxpayer is getting shafted and if people want to lose their RRSP savings go for it. Bre-x was chicken feed compared to this scam from the coast.

Out of the 30 companies working on fuel cells 20 of them are PEM's scrambling to force taxpayers to pay for at least a 10 billion dollar infrastructure change. Simple math a cu.ft. hydrogen costs $3.00 compared to 10 cents for natural gas. Out of the 10 SOFC companies only 1 could stop the stacks from leaking , lower the temperature, double the output, cut the physical size by 1/2, lower the cost by 90%, test it properly , ( what other fuel cell has published a complete test?) and build their prototype based on present day manufacturer processes. That company is Global Thermoelectric, yes some of you will make millions because there isn't too many shares available. If you need to pay a bill or buy a bag of groceries sell some.

Point of interest: PEM's have gone from sort of being in buses to almost being in trucks to maybe cars to most recently, possibly chainsaw engines.

Hooray for Alberta, the Prairies, and U.B.C.!
