...particularly the timing of it. LOL. It's called capitalism. Lots of people are trying to capitalize on the FUD (fear, uncertainty, distress).
What almost everybody forgets, is that the founding fathers lived in times and circumstances that dwarf our current FUD, and devised a masterful and ingenious federalist system with lots of checks, balances, and protections both within the federal government and between the federal government and the several states, that very few people nowadays are even aware of, let alone understand and appreciate.
People ought to try to understand the system and the why's, how's, and wherefore's, before undertaking to criticize and dismantle it. Today's so-called "experts" can be so myopic as to not see the forest for the trees.
