The "story" with PCBM is that they are creating a payroll check cashing and possibly some debt business through a proprietary atm card process/s. Don't hold or quote me on this.. just typing without their info in front of me.

They should make money on each transaction while a portion of the employment pool benefits by not having to cash or deposit through a bank or checking account... checks get credited directly into an atm card. No robbery potential either... unless there evolves a new breed of pin bandits.

So why is this a good play? They've cut a deal with Mailboxes, or that's the story being bandied about. Its being implemented in Florida now, with I think I read 60%+ of the rest of the country able in the future. Its a great thing to have an electronic commerce idea with a physical location host that can quickly multiply your presense. It works for Mailboxes because they don't have to carry the risks of cash to do check cashing and expands their walk in trade.

Last, is that its dirt cheap because they keep putting off SEC filings and if I remember, its parent business is related to but not only what they are attempting to do.. ie they come from other roots.

But I'm taking the chance that its a typical problem of many companies trying to make the transition from small fry to big fly.

I also like putting a little money into that sector of business which deals with debt and not making bills on time.. etc. The market is roaring now, but a big burp in the economy could put a service like this on the map of extreme usefulness.
