My opinion regarding Jobs' sales on his 1.5 millions shares of Apple has
twofolds:

1. Jobs uses this tactical method to gain more control of Apple. He threatens
Amelio that he could sell his Apple stock any time as he wishes. It looks
like he tried to retreat from Apple, but actually he may gain his position
at Apple. This also sent a signal to clones and Motorola that if they
stand tough in negotiation of os license fees, both will sink.

2. It is clear that what Jobs wants is the whole or none about Apple. He
bets that the timing is ripe, and he seems very confident about his betting.

We'll see whether or not he will control Apple eventually and how long it
takes. Or, he will totally retreat from Apple and concentrate on his other
companies
