But a Cat. 3 is the minimum of actual property damage. Still, at least you have experienced one. I hae never been in more than a 2.3 earthquake.


Oh I don't know......part of the roof collapsed next door during the hurricane.

But in LA it wasn't just the damage that terrified me and others......although that was bad enough.........it was the idea that the ground is moving and there is nowhere to go where its safe. Think about the ground moving so strongly people fall to the ground or where the second story of your house is perpendicular to the first story. Hurricanes are terrifying but earthquakes screw with your mind.
