TOKYO--Less than 10 percent of the Japanese companies on the Tokyo Stock
Exchange have completed millennium compliance, a corporate survey released by
the Exchange showed yesterday.

While a majority of firms are working on the issue, only 9.4 percent of the
1,549 listed firms polled said they had taken steps to counter the millennium
computer problem, which arises because many systems fail to recognize the date
for the year 2000, the survey said.
=========================

Here is another example of the press saying that 10% HAVE completed compliance
when in fact they have not. There have 'taken steps' towards compliance.

However, even if one GRANTED 10% done they still are belly up with only 300
working days to go.

When the second largest economy in the world goes under the world is
AUTOMATICALLY THRUST INTO A MINIMUM of a depression.

Only Jeff Weiss will be ignorant enough to argue the fact. Maybe some of his
butthead Pollyanna friends would like to help him.

All the way down to the wire the butthead Pollyannas will ask us to determine
how many angels can dance on the head of a pin and the whole time they will be
straining out gnats and swallowing camels.

Hey, no skin off my nose its Jeff Weiss's funeral. Oh yeah, He moved out to
the country even though nothing at all is going to happen. He claims that he
doesn't like coincidences. Coulda fooled me.
