So many folks have just given up.
Neo says "ordinary folks can't do anything, it's not their job"
Some others say, "put your faith in the gov't, don't ask questions, or leave"
Others say, "the govt's doing a great job, leave them alone, or else we'll fail"...
Simple cursory examination of the facts shows gov't has been more of a hinderance than help, in the last year and a half, before and after 9/11. And is getting worse.
It looks like it's a few of us, anyway, who will help keep the doors to the Capitol open to the public, and watch for oppressors, "whether foreign or domestic". The rest can thank us later, when monumental crimes are uncovered. |
