you got tons of displaced workers in the rust belt who are losing their health insurance....what we used to call blue collar working people are getting killed...they're Regan democrats that will vote against NAFTA en masse and want health care...major corporations want to move it off their books, too.... same thing is now happening in the sun belt employment wise...they're not retraining them. that's a lot of crap. it's the middle-class high school graduate. the low end is getting squeezed by illegal labor. Depresses working class wages. This is affecting working blacks too. white collar jobs are being outsourced too. all the studies don't change what I'm hearing on the streets. True, anecdotal, but I've never heard this much economic moaning from so many different parts of the country. Florida's bust, the midwest is hallowed out, and growth has slowed in the sun belt. and now people are getting eaten alive by inflation. all this on Bush's watch. I'm surprised McCain is doing as well as he is.
