I just sent this to SI management:

You beancounters don't have a clue what you've done. In the two days since Bob was canned, the whole civility of SI has gone down the tubes. You have no idea how much damage you did to the community to save a few bucks, and you sent a very bad message to the SI membership in the process. My posts have given you a lot of page views and revenues over the years; I may be posting a lot less in the future.
