Dear Dan, IMO we will not have unity until we learn to respect and love the way God has made people different. If He did not want a race He would not have made it. However, He chose to make us the way we are and it is up to us to love one another as we love ourselves. I have said before that there are still male and female and there is still Jew and Greek in this world so the text must have a meaning of being eligiable for salvation and in that case this is totally true. The physical world still has Nations and His plan is proceeding regardless of what men want. I long for the day that He sets up His Son on His Holy mountain Zion. Psalm 2 1: Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5: Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6: Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7: I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. This time is yet to come, IMO we are now indwelled individually amongst the tears. Nancy |
