In fact, it seemed that those who could memorize all the language details couldn't program a lick...>> My wife went to college when she was 40 and got a degree in programming. Hell, she was the Valedictorian. Hand her the car keys and a map and she can't find next door. OTOH I can set the VCR and that's the end of my programming but I rarely get lost and can see the relationships of countries and where they are to me and each other.
