Dr. Spencer brings 25 years of experience in the high technology industry and an accomplished entrepreneurial background including founding and building a successful high-tech company to revenues of $140 Million. He also boasts an accomplished educational background, including a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA degree. In his role as Director, Ken will be actively involved with Spectrum's senior management team in developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities in the expanding DSP market. In 1983 Dr. Spencer co-founded Creo Products Inc., a private company with revenues of $140 Million and 750 employees which supplies state-of-the-art digital pre-press systems. He was instrumental in the turnaround success of MacDonald Dettwiler, which was recently acquired by Orbital Sciences, as he held the position of Vice President and General Manager during its rise. Ken was also General Manager at Glenayre Technologies Inc., a leading supplier of telecommunications equipment and related software used by service providers. Throughout his career Dr. Spencer has played an active roll in raising capital for the organizations he has been involved in.
