Corel's third quarter ends 30SEP96. The earnings report officially comes out around the 20th of the following month. A news release, "pleaseantly surprised", "will certainly please the shareholders" is usually leaked a couple of weeks before. I will go back through my papers and and firm up the dates of past reports and news releases.

The stock always jumps on rumour. The news is always factored in before it is released and does not effect the share price that much. Gains or losses in Corel's share price usually take 2 days to complete. With changes of $2 then $1.5 then smaller changes for about a week.

I am going to place my order Monday for calls. If I get a few for October and the rest for January I will hit the 3rd quarter and the yearend results(or rumours thereof)

I will have to build a garage beside my helipad for my new porche.
