Sanford who I like will be 48 (Dec), but I’ve read McCain wasn’t happy that Sanford didn’t endorse him before the S.C. primary. Huckabee will be 53 (Aug) and I think early 50s is probably ideal, but the preacher thing wouldn’t go over well with a lot of independents. Portman will be 52(Dec) and he would be good for Ohio, but his experience is a little thin. Crist will be 52(July) and he would be good for Florida, but his hair is just as white as McCain’s. DeMint will be 57 (Sept), but he’s a Senator like McCain. Brownback will be 52 (Sept) and is another Senator. I could vote for Pawlenty, 48 (Nov) or Romney, just turned 61 (march), but doubt they would do well in the South. * * *
