Following is an email from Chris Alexander. As I mentioned before, CA had a detailed conversation with Oracle management regarding the Oracle/NUKO relationship. He wanted to clarify to the thread that the relationship is not exclusive... <<The upshot is that Oracle Videoserver as they told me at Oracle is just software. To reiterate; they said that they do not recommend NUKO and NUKO is just one of several video codecs that will work with Oracle Videoserver which can run on most computer platforms and has always worked on the DEC Alpha even before the above announcment by DEC to exit that market. What Oracle told me was that NUKO is not part of Oracle's product and is just a PACKAGING OPTION of ONE OF MANY POSSIBLE SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS.>>
