It is not just the fall in number of school children; it is the fall in number of Japanese men and their whole labor force<g>. And I wonder what this has to do with their invasion to so many Asian countries in WWII?

"If current trends continue, JAPAN's POPULATION will fall for the rest of the century. The most severe estimates suggest it could shrink by nearly two-thirds to 45m by 2100; the same level as in 1910 Meiji JAPAN.”

The problem with Japan is much deeper than just its population declining. They need to reconsider their role in Asia as well as their relationship with other neighboring Asian countries. They need to reconcile with themselves. They would have to understand that their day of being Asia’s #1 will be over soon. Their natural resources, their population, and their territories are just not compatible with their ambition<g>. They should make friends with their Asian neighbors. And before they could do that, they would have to reexamine themselves for the crime they have committed in WWII. Without doing this, no neighboring countries would like to make friends with them.

I read that some US scientist is predicting that there will be a big earth quake coming this century in Japan which would be so strong and would make most of Japan disappearing. And this guy suggests that Japan should start diplomacy and make some real friends with its neighboring countries and in case needed, they would have some place taken them as refugees<g>. Maybe not, maybe the US can take all of them<g>
