"If you can't help em up, help em down" is a saying in AA of which I am fond, the idea being that things (people) don't change until circumstances get excruciatingly bad. As such, while recognizing that my influence on the subject is zero, I'm changing my opinion to all drugs should remain illegal. Wouldn't want to cut off that funding. The other saying that comes to mind in this context is "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". Along similar lines I'm thinking of buying an SUV, maybe two, so I can do my part in funding jihad. ARS
