OT. I stopped at my friends place who is into the loudest speakers catagory of Jeep competition. He was putting in a box with carpet from Jeep to match his. In the box were 2 large batteries fed by 3/4" wires and hooked up to 2 amplifiers that each turn out 300 amps. It's cooled by fans.

The speakers are mounted in specially designed 1" thick plexiglass boxes that make one note especially loud. He claims he can get over 300 decibles out of his unit, 120 will cause pain. He's one guy you don't want to tailgate.
