To All, But Especially New Investors In FTEL:

Because of my work schedule and the immediate demands on my time last week, I am just getting around to commenting on the events of last week's wild ride. I am only an occasional poster here primarily because my information gathering capabilities are somewhat limited when compared to many others on the thread. However, after reading some of the negative comments posted last week after the share price peaked, it appears that the flippers had taken their profits and were trying to influence a pull back so that they could buy back in at a lower price. I think this is the primary reason why those who show up here with unsubstantiated negative comments get flamed so quickly. I think it is obvious that there is a lot of trading going on in FTEL and that is to be expected. But for someone new to the thread who is looking for a good place to invest it is hard to know who to believe. Although we should all do our own DD, many people don't and instead invest on what others think or say. That is risky business but many are willing to do just that. With that thought in mind I would like to say that I get disappointed just as much as anyone when the share price takes large downward swings, but I get mad when it happens in conjunction with apparent manipulation. I guess that's part of being invested in a BB stock, but we will not have that problem in a few weeks when we get re-listed. In any case, for those who are new to the thread and maybe thinking about investing in Franklin, I want to share my story with FTEL.

I purchased my first shares of FTEL in early 1994 based on some information shared by Joseph Schmit (maybe some of you remember him from the Prodigy Money Talk BB). As Joe shared Franklin's story and talked about the people who were involved in the company, where the company was going, and his confidence in Frank Peters, it caught my interest. At that time the share price was .062 so I bought 22,000 shares and began to watch the story unfold. Being new to stock investing, I was surprised when the company did the 10 to 1 reverse split and my share count went down to 2,200, soon followed by the share price which went from .62 to .43 in a short time. At that time, I must admit, I thought I had made a mistake but the investment was small, so I continued to hope, hold and watch. In 1994, much of what Franklin is today was just a dream in Frank Peters mind. But over the last four years he has made a good part of that dream a reality. He has gathered a team of experts who are on the cutting edge of an emerging industry of IP telecommunications; he has made strategic acquisitions, one of which (Internet Passport) has played a crucial part in both the immediate as well as the long range future of the company relative to satellite service; he has successfully completed all of the requirements for re-listing on the large cap NASD; he has developed and is manufacturing a DVG (30 per day) that has been independently evaluated and determined to have the best hardware and software in it's class, not to mention the best sound quality in any class; he has developed and is in the process of implementing a financing plan with minimal dilution, which is sufficient to create a global IP telecommunication company that is capable of generating a billion dollars in annual revenue (Frank Peter's own words at the NYC demo): and he has aligned himself with one of the largest global telecommunications companies in the world in order to make this dream come true. In my opinion this is a great company with a great future. In thinking about it, the best part of any pull back in the share price is that it creates an opportunity to buy more and I do. Long and not suffering. Bill Ward
