That's why I was so pissed the other day. I had a sell on TSIS right after the open at MARKET. and a market BUY on LWNTF that I put in BEFORE OPEN. They took 20min to process my LWNTF order (opened 1.91/filled me @ 2.06)...I wanted to buy lots more, but... They took 25 minutes to process my SELL market order on TSIS even though there was NO VOLUME when I placed it! (it opened at 2 5/32, but they filled me at 2.06 on half and gave me 1 11/16 on the other half. A blatant theft, and it took 3/4 of my profits.) So, they took my money AND stopped me from making more on several good stocks through their delays. Lesson learned: If you want to sell BADLY, use a limit sell that is substantially below the bid...but not so low you wouldn't want to sell there. (They have to give you the market and process you first that way).
