What I don't like is this left wing censorship I see all the time. They would burn the books if they could.

I agree that most of this stuff is overdone. I don't think, however, we can single out left wing censorship. There's been dueling censorship for years now. Refusing to tell people that condoms provide pretty effective protection against STDs, for example. The right is getting just as PC as the left--only the definition of correctness has changed. PC is not a good thing, regardless of side.

Whats the harm? The Theory of Evolution is robust enough to withstand that kind of nonsense.

I don't see any harm in crosses in grottos along park trails. But the parks sell educational materials in their stores, education about science. If they put this book in, say, the section with the memoirs and the poetry it would be OK, but not in the geology section. I agree that evolution is not threatened, but government credibility, what's left of it, is.
