I agree that the Constitution protects civil rights of minorities, but it never meant to do so to the exclusion of the majority's preference. Certain narrow segments in the USA want to completely suppress the rights of the vast majority who don't agree with them. The Constitution cannot be hi-jacked in that way, which is one of the clearest messages sent to activist judges as a result of the election.
