Rick,
sorry for my responding that late (technical problem - system reinstall and total lack of time to fix that..). CYMI & COHR are my best bets right now. I also like SFC (my target $17-18) but it already had another big run. Semi equip is looking very good again. Look to undervalued opportunities: IPEC, NANO, some semis like IDTI (and probably AMD) are looking good to me.

I heard from a reliable source (ANAND's homepage) that AMD & DEC banded together to use DEC's superior (to INTC !!) protocol on the upcoming K7. This will use a PHYSICAL- compatible design to INTC's SLOT-One cartridge, however not compatible electrically. From this deal..
1) DEC wins core-login & mainboard providers for its ALPHA-line (mfgr. by INTC factories <hehe>)
2) AMD wins an IO-protocol superior to INTC's Slot-one architecure (EVB). More of this: this is a SMP-capable !!
3) It might be possible to build a mainboard supporting AMD's, DEC-ALPHA and AMD-K7 CPU design by a single board design.. (this means: THE USER wins, too)
4) INTC ?? Will continue to slash prices..

Also DEC is going to use this (AMD's) SLot one scheme. WOW !!!

I might change my stance on AMD. Notebooks are out too, using the K6-266. However next round of INTC price-cuts is around the corner. Watch it but give AMD no bearish weight anymore..

regards
CROSSY
