Dear Fred,
You are so right. I predict 2 immediate victims..

1) SIII: will have a tough time to fight INTC with a pretty empty product pipeline on its own..
2) TRID: it pales in contrast to CUBE's DVD offerings..
3) TDFX: still based on EDO-RAM, although currently quite succesful in terms of market share

More robust, however somehow vulnerable shortterm
1) TDDDF: will have to invest in NT/Win95 driver optimization and new product development
2) the stealth competitor: ArkLogic, owned by a publicly listed holding company, I cannot remember. Very innovative, already had a cheapo but powerful design in the 2D field (the PV2000 PCI)

Best bets to fend off INTC:
1) STM - they make the RIVA 128 chips..
2) ATI - Tech of Canada, just bought out the Tseng talent

best wishes, just my 2cents of course..
CROSSY
