Carolyn, according to a media published article, the board voted for Russ to be CEO, but reversed the decision when The AA brought in lawyers in opposition. Apparently, Russ rejected the position because AA would not sign a non compete agreement. At this time it is not likely the Board would be less craven than it was when confronted by AA's lawyers. Savoy, of Uncle Paul's VV, seems to remain a director, but who knows for how long. VV's investments, which many of us joined in because of his reputation, do not seem to be faring very well, except Charter and Transmeta.
