I find this hard to take. Every computer store, every publication and newspaper and mail order catalog I look at has all kinds of CPQ ads of desktops, which goes to tell me that this is really the bread and butter of CPQ. Or else, why expend so much in ads? Now then, how on earth are they going to replace this much revenue source out of the blue if they were to abandon desktops. Use your common sense my friend. This "high up" Tandem fellow must have been high from somethig. IMO, it is a ridiculous idea. I hope it is not true for the sake of all of us who are long CPQ. Peace!
