Thanks Josh.. JUst surface scanning the article this morning until tomorrow when more time, the SA article certainly shows some of the problems, but didn't mention the system approach my hubby continues talking about....We should be thinking of not only the problems and dangers, but also comparing those problems with the positive pluses of all sorts of energy... From what we know of Congress now, and in fact, even the various lobbying groups for any given thing...most of them don't think in terms of systems. They only tend to think in the immediate for the day....not any long range planning. In fact, I wonder if there really is any cohesive Board of Energy....or whatever we could call a group concerned with learning the positives and negatives of ALL types of energy sources. Most of the groups seem to only think of their own arena of knowledge....but is there a group that addresses all sorts of energy sources...? It would seem to me that we need all viable sources of energy available, and need to know the pros and cons of each source.
