This is why I will hold my nose and vote for McCain: he's the "far lesser evil".

Today on CNBC a GOP Senator (didn't catch his name) was yakking on about the importance of passing the pork ridden farm bill. And Bushes Interior Dept has just listed the Polar Bear as a "threatened species" because there could be a decline in Arctic sea ice which could result in two-thirds of the polar bears disappearing by mid-century.

I've had enough. I haven't left the GOP, it's left me. The Republican Party has become a pale "me too" imitation of the Dems. No wonder the public will vote for the "real thing" this November. Let "the public" and the country choke on the Dem agenda, as it surely will. The corrosive filth in DC is a bipartisan affliction.

I will cast no more "lesser of evils" votes. I'm going to campaign for and financially support the LP this year. At least I'll be able to sleep well...
