Are you aware that DELL or GTW is offering free Window 98 upgrade? CPQ can do this too. There are many people who are smart to buy the computer at a cheaper price now and get a free upgrade later. I can see CPQ will soon offer this or already offering the free upgrade.

Buy a computer now you get a free monitor, with some throw ins. Computer smarts would grab this. If you do math.. ummm am not sure which will be better off.
