Yes, you are probably right...some in the world actually laughed when 9-11 happened. Some of those folks probably laughed too while we were picking up the pieces for the next several years.

Some of the world laughed while Saddam was shredding people. Some of those same people laughed when he gassed about 350,000 of his own people too.

Some of those people laughed when Katrina hit our gulf coast. And some of them probably thought the LA governor was a hero when she wouldn't sign a paper for 24 more hours to even let the Feds into LA. And some of the folks probably laughed while Nagin stood around and didn't bother to help his own people escape the hurricane, and did let 1,000 school buses stand empty.

And yes, some in the world probably laughed with the Indonesian tsunami hit....killing hundreds of thousands. Many in the world sat on their hands.

But not the Americans. We were there too. Although most of us didn't think any of the above events were very funny.

Yeah, the past 7+ years have been a real scream, OK.

But then again, maybe in the 8 years you counted Clinton's last year....That was pretty funny too....

Isn't that exactly what the last 8 years has been ??
