The tire can fail at several different times with several different problems. I am assuming that ETTI has done enough testing and development to cover their 50,000 mile tread warranty. The tread warranties are pretty much the same across the industry. They carry alot of stipulations that you rotate tires, correct inflation pressure . . .). That really does not worry me! What does is a unexpected failure that could be fatal. Example could be the sidewall blows out or tire does not seat properly on the rim. To answer your question is a tough one because different modes of failure occur at different times. The question I would ask before buying this stock would be how much fatigue or endurance testing have they done to ensure a safe tire! Doug
