Jody,

Haven't been to this particular thread in awhile so this response is a little late.

Not sure what you used as a basis for you financial evaluation (terrible eranings) but it couldn't have come from the same sources I've been looking at. I would be interested in understanding your evaluation, please advise. If you talking about earnings per share you are correct(for the moment). Also, at a glance it doesn't look like much. With this statement I would also agree. I've been following the Iridex corporation for months and I am convinced that there is potential here. Please don't anyone take this as a recommendation from me to buy into IRIX. As with any stock investment of this type there is a certain amount of risk involved, however, I have chosen to take that risk. With the awarding of the US Navy R&D contract as well as the appointment of Mr. Kamenski as finance officer it becomes apparent to me that the corporation is positioning themselves to act on their planned domestic and international growth. If, and "if" is an enormous word in the market, but if Iridex gets their supply problem under control I am optimistic that things will begin to look up.
Good luck to anyone holding.......
JHL
