Part III
One thing I learned from my visit is that IVII does more than offer testing systems. IVII also provides lab services for companies. IVII does in-house testing for companies. IVII also has a Turn-Key Installation and Service program. The company is an OEM for the Automated Plate Reader and computer equipment. The system is installed for the client and accompanied by on-site training and consultation. IVII provides ongoing technical support as needed for consistently optimal results. Plate readers are common in labs. If a company wants to use testing systems they can buy the software for $500. Corrositex, Irritection, Skintex, and Eytex assay systems are sold separately. Don't forget the company's Guardian DNA. Probably the worst thing for the company is that they are ahead of their time, or should I say WAS. After years of frustration to stop needless use of animals for testing chemicals are changing in the world. In Nov 1998 UK bans use of animals for testing of cosmetic products. Slowly organizations like the Doris Day foundation efforts are coming to fruit. The foundation has been helpful in assisting government agencies to recongize alternative ways for testing harmful chemicals. Not only is the government noticing the need but Law schools are waking up. The following information comes from th Orange County Register "NATION" Sunday, 6-27-99.
"For the first time, the school (Harvard Law School) will offer a course on what some consider an emerging field: animal-rights law."
"A similar class has been a popular offering at Hastings College of the Law at the University of California, San Fransico, said Leo Martinez, the school's dean." Other schools listed are Northwestern University's law school in Chicago and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

*In CEO and President Rich Ulmers bio I forgot to add that he is a graduate of Harvard University.
