I tried to edit my previous post with another long post, but my computer froze when I hit the submit button.

I wanted to add that I tried to find a long review I wrote of a magazine article about the netbox concept, but I must have deleted it. The article touched on the various markets such as the computerphobe homes and the lower income markets and the schools with little computer budgets that want to replace their Apple II's. But the author said the first and most immediate market are the corporate settings with big computer costs. The cost of upgrading with the latest firebreather is small compared to the cost of maintaining the present setups. Storing the company's software and data in a central location and having the user download the software in module form in seconds every time he or she needs to use it would take about the same amount of time as booting up a Windows program . The real savings is in separating the user from the valuable stuff in storage. The REAL cost to the big company is the damage caused by the tinkering users! Stored safely in a central server, the computer-maintainer's life is made easier and the corporation saves big bucks.
