96 points probably won’t even get us in the playoffs… I’d previously figured 101 would do it, and thought with the favorable home schedule in the 2nd half that we could do even better than that….that remains to be seen of course, esp. after losing 7 of the last 11… refiguring the Kings prospects for the remainder of the season….we’ll probably NOT reach my original goal of 101 points, but 99 will very likely get us into the playoffs….right now our points per game is 9th in the west, so we have to continue to pick up the pace to compete, and esp. we have to win the divisional battles; matchups vs. Ducks, Sharks, Stars, et al….it’ll be tooth & nail close all the way…. 9] Kings 47 games 55 points 1.170 ppg 8] Detroit 46 games 54 pts. 1.174 ppg 7] Vancouver 47 games 56 pts. 1.191 ppg
