Update on the wagerr launch.
The wagerr blockchain had some problem with a block (I think it was block 5,322, something near that one) and ..... the chain froze. The chain for some reason couldn't create the next block and confirm it and move forward.
One of the wagerr team posted on Telegram that the wagerr network had been "attacked" by a competitor. People on the discussion boards are wondering how the wagerr team could know who attacked them (if they were attacked) and if they somehow knew the competitor, why didn't they announce the name of the competitor. Anyways......
So the wagerr development team took the network offline for about 20 hours, closed the gateway between Waves and the Wagerr Websight and the (currently down) wagerr MainNet, and tried to fix the issue. The wagerr network went up again (creating new) blocks about 18 hours ago, but the gateways remain closed.
Recently a new wallet has been released on Github
github.com
And we are waiting for a formal announcement from the wagerr team about ....... well, anything I suppose.
Wagerr on Waves token price has fallen to ~41 cents from ~52 cents yesterday.
I think they next bit of into will be an email explaining what to do next about transferring coins from the web sight and Waves to the Mainnet (open the gateways again) and also the detailed explanation of how to run a masternode. There are currently 26 masternodes in the wagerr Mainnet, and it's on about block 6,400. Rewards are earned by Masternodes beginning with block 10,000, so we expect the wagerr team to release the detailed explanation of how to run a masternode before block 10,000, the sooner before block 10,000 the better.
The wagerr Mainnet still doesn't do anything functional, but they are doing their best to get it up and running, after that I think the idea is get the Mainnet stabilized, and then test betting.
One Advisor said in a chat room that they may have betting in Q2, but it wasn't clear if he meant actual betting (which would be awesome) or Testnet betting (which would be better than nothing, but actual betting is the key). |
