Accelr8 Technology Announces a 120% Increase in Net Income
DENVER, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelr8 Technology Corporation, a leader in Digital VAX to open systems migration tools and services, including Year 2000 assessment, announced results for the three months ended October 31, 1996.

Thomas V. Geimer, Chairman of Accelr8, attributed the 120% increase in net income to the continued high demand for the Company's "re-engineering" and "modernization" services in Digital environments. Mr. Geimer noted that the Company is now offering Year 2000 Impact Analysis solutions for the Digital installed base running FORTRAN applications. The Company anticipates completion of its Year 2000 COBOL and C tools by the end of the first calendar quarter in 1997. Accelr8, is working with several key system integrators (such as Keane and ISSC) to insure adequate staffing and technical capability to meet the growing demand for "millennium" date issues in the Digital/VMS market place.
