November 11, 2006 ALDERSHOT COMPLETES EXPLORING KERT URANIUM PROPERTY Jeremy Caddy, President of Aldershot Resources Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to report the completion of the first phase of exploration at the Kert uranium property. The Kert property is located in the western part of Quebec adjacent to the Company's Fort Coulonge claim block. The Kert property is situated within the Aldfield and Masham Townships. Access to the property is excellent and an ample power supply is near to hand.
The fieldwork program consisted of:
Locating, prospecting and rock sampling the Kert and the Shawville uranium prospects;
Establishing two grids; one over the Kert showing and the second over the Shawville showing; and
Geological and radiometric surveys over both grids to identify new target areas. Both showings were located, sampled and a ground radiometric survey was completed on each grid.
The Kert showing consists of disseminated molybdenite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, magnetite and uraninite .The host rocks are pegmatite, metamorphic pyroxenite and a granitized para-gneiss. Radioactivity ranges between 500-10,000 cps which is closely associated with a higher content of magnetite.
The Shawville showing is a pegmatite dyke intruding hornblend-biotite gneiss. The pegmatitic dyke can be followed along strike for 120 metres and has an average thickness of 3.5 metres with an almost vertical dip. The radioactive principal mineral is uranothorite. Historical sampling of the showing was reported to yield values 0.12% and 0.91% U3O8 The Company places no reliance on these historical values. The radiation measured over the area of the showing during the recent program ranges between 1500 - 3500 cps.
Samples collected from this first phase program have been forwarded for analysis to the Acme Laboratory in Vancouver. Compete analytical results should be received in approximately one week.
The geophysical radiometric surveys completed over the property were successful. High radiometric readings on both the Kert and the Shawville showings have identified previously unrecognized uranium target areas for further work. These targets will be the subject of detailed work during the second phase program on the property to be conducted during the 2007 exploration season.
Management is pleased with the success of the fieldwork and the newly recognized radioactive zones. A detailed interpretation of the results is underway by the project geologist Mr. Michael Boily PhD, a Qualified Person. A comprehensive geological and geophysical report will be prepared after receiving the chemical results.

The Company also announces that it has arranged a non-brokered financing to complete a private placement to raise up to $500,000 through the issuance of up to an aggregate of 2,000,000 common shares at $0.25. The proceeds of the private placement will be used for future exploration and for general working capital. The terms of the financing are subject to regulatory approval.
