I don't think the free PC market is viable. It requires a payout on the backend of some kind and that payout can be negated by several factors, all of which are likely/probable. 1. Bad information/changed information on the part of the recipient. 2. Recipient not using the product, but keeping the PC. 3.Lack of ability to reach "critical mass" with your product (very likely based on current PC penetration and the # of companies distributing free PCs). These are only a few. There are many more. I considered doing this with my business, but after reviewing the economics, they all pointed to unlikeliness of success.
