As early as at the end of this month, Apple usually provides rough estimates
on revenue/net income for the current quarter. Rather than to trust next
quarter's results (historical data tell us the fourth quarter was the going-
back-to-school quarter, it usually creates more revenue), I would take this
quarter's as a guide to detect if Apple could meet or exceed the expectation
in the future.

Apple's previous quarter's disappointing results didn't create any stocks
deep plunge due to Larry's stir that creates takeover speculations. But,
there will be no another Larry again this time.

It is believed that most of individual investors are paying close attention to
the results this time. However, stock funds managers probably still stick
with Dr. Gil's "three years" plan.
