Thanks for making the same post on both threads. We all appreciate your opinion. You wrote:

Choosing your investments based on past performance isn't necessarily the best way to do things. The only advantage of this strategy is that it's simple; I guess that might be considered a big advantage to those who can't handle more sophisticated strategies.

Keep in mind that your typical AMD investor might, and probably does, have substantially different investment goals and risk tolerances than your typical Intel investor. We're well aware that we're taking bigger risks with our money in AMD, and that the chance of a huge success is probably relatively small. Stock performance over the last six months just isn't relevant. We gambled AMD would be able to execute and lost. We continue to gamble. If you think that kind of gamble is too risky, don't make it--stick to your Intel. If you have substantinve information which makes you believe AMD's risk is greater than the market believes it is, by all means let us know about it.
