Brother Bill that's "NT for Free" punishable by hanging from a Redmond tree Clever info - IBM has a OS feature called "workspace on demand" . Suspect the intent is to avoid paying a OS license fee for a random user (NC) by keeping the OS I/O etc. functions at the server. Kind of reminds one of the old mainframe techniques except this may be misinterperted as a money-tree leveling effort AIMed at Redmond , WA . Jim K.
