Bill - Re: " All things considered they have donw ell to date. Same with Cyrix. I see tham as an intelligent well run company that has come a long way uphill against Intel."

There are many companies that are doing much much better than AMD or Cyrix that compete in the semiconductor area. Xilinx, Altera, Analog Devices, Atmel, Dallas Semi, MicroChip, etc. come to mind.

These companies make money with original devices, not copy cat devices and they all seem to be profitable.

The market probably has many more similarly successful companies.

Why worry about AMD & Cyrix which seem to constantly lose money and depend on Intel to define their markets?
