Please note that the pounding that NXTR and TXB stock prices took were in all probablity related to hedgeing by the new "investors". TXB's fund raising was much worse then NXtr's recent convert. offering. If you go back and compare how the stock price reacted to JAn-Feb. 1996 's private placement to the MAr. 1997 private placement you will see quite a difference. I'm so PO re these private placements and the related hedging and resultant stock price trashing that I have promised myself the next time it happens I'm selling regardless of how promising the company looks.
