Another mess that PETA and the Greens have created.

It's a mess. I like horses OK, if I don't have to ride them too far or pay for hay, but the wild or feral horse problem is going to get very serious in short order.

All those feral horses are the equivalent of invaders on habitat that is vital to native creatures like bighorn sheep, deer, and so forth. It's the equivalent of turning feral pigs loose on Oahu. If pigs had a constituency like horses do, they'd mow you down.

I remember a time when government horses were destroyed rather than being sold on the market. That did not make sense to me.

There has to be a middle ground somewhere, if people would stop messing with the balance of life.
