Would you want homosexuals to meet in a public place to preach that Christians are sinners (before a holy God)--thus demonizing you as a group, insulting your nature, and dismissing your human worth?
We live in a free country. Just imagine if Greg McRitchie tried to have a parade of Christian heterosexuals how he would be taken to task by the freaks and the weirdos.
Are Christians incapable of common courtesy, but must, rather, incite hatred against other groups? Do you think "preaching" against the moral equality of homosexuals is an innocent passtime? Again: would you like it done to you?
Don't blame Christ for this blame God if you like. You're well aware that he gave you a free will and how you use it is your business.
If you believe that humans ought to have basic rights to freedom from the oppression of others, then what is your objection to homosexuals being people?
How about the basic freedom from having to listen to more lies about queers. What about my rights for that?
If you can preach that homosexuals are sinners and abnormal, then what about Moslems, Jews, atheists, etc.?
The law of God operates on these different faiths and all reject the perversion.
As Lewis put it, you and yours are "Men without chests" Considering that his lifelong friend was homosexual, Greg, I can understand why you might value his opinion on that. However, the ladies love my chest, and I've no doubt some of the men do, too...
Bully for you.
Now get back on that pony and put on a ka'boy hat of common sense. |
