Thank you for your kind comments. I think Kerry will be a fine President. One of the many reasons is his strong relationships with a number of GOP Senators; McCain, Hagel and Lugar to name a few. Kerry has also worked closely with Senator Frist (co-authored the HIV/AIDS bill) and Frist had high praise for Kerry.

I believe Kerry will build a bridge across the aisle and make progress on both Iraq and with our economy.

If this election was between Senators Hagel and Kerry, I would not be worried about America's future. Hagel is my type of Republican and I hope he runs against Kerry in 2008.

A couple of recent Hagel quotes:

"Republicans used to believe in balanced budgets. Republicans used to believe in fiscal responsibility, limited international entanglements and limited government. We have lost our way." Senator Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska), Nov 2003

"But to say, 'Well, we just must stay the course and any of you who are questioning are just hand-wringers' is not very responsible. The fact is, we're in trouble. We're in deep trouble in Iraq."
Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NEB) last week.

Those are both honest remarks about the current situation.

Thanks again. Just 40 more days to get Kerry elected!
