eConnect...formerly Betting, Inc. (BETT) is a same as cash transaction company that has proprietary technology for enabling consumers to conduct same as cash transactions (using debit cards or pre-paid cash cards or regular old credit cards) from anywhere. Over the internet using double encrypted messages that are sent by telephone line (not over the internet). From home using a card swipe machine integrated with your phone. They even have a wireless unit!!! The system is basically the same card swipe technology that you see used at the store or restaurant....but brought to the consumer. You can pay your bills at the last minute before they are due (with participating creditors) and all you have to do is dial them up and swipe your card! Ultimate convenience and control. If your mortgage or utility payment is due July 23rd at midnight...you can wait until 11:50 pm to pay it using this system, provided your creditor is online with it. The company originally focused on gaming transactions as the way to generate revenues but has come to realize that is only a small facet of the income producing potential for this technology. Personally....I am VERY excited about this company so I am NOT unbiased. I am long and strong and only wish I owned more. I believe this technology will have a similar effect on how we do business everyday, similar to the credit card in the 70's and ATM's in the '80's and '90's. But I like what it offers because I hate writing checks and giving out my information over the telephone or internet to transact purchases. Right now the company is very small and working hard to expand. They are getting some California utilities on line to participate and have other avenues that are already generating revenues (mostly gaming). IMHO THIS WILL BE BIG...and it is an incredible bargain right now if you believe as I do and take the time to read the 10K's and other reports. Do your own DD and form your own opinions and investment stategies. I don't care if anyone else buys or sells this stock. I am comfortable with my position. I will gladly try to assist anyone interested in doing their DD. Check out the DD Central on ECNC thread I started on SI to centralize your efforts.
